What Is the Best Baby Diaper Rash Cream is the MIllion Dollar question for parents. If you are new parent then this is the most important question for you. In this article i am reviewing some Best baby diaper rash cream used by me which may help you to buy the best one for your kid.

One thing all babies seem to have in common is the occasional occurrence of diaper rash. Diaper rash and irritation marked by redness in the groin and bottom areas. Why is a rash on the bottom such a common problem?  pediatrician Gilbert Martin says “baby’s skin is simply more sensitive. We need to realize that the skin of a baby is not the same as a skin of an adult. They have the same layers but not the deepness of the layers.

A deepness or the protection is not there so therefore babies are affected more with acids with basis with irritants than adults”. Dr. Martin says “baby has fine skins along with frequent urine and bowel movements are the most common cause of diaper rash”. So is there any way to prevent diaper rash? The secret of success is you need to change the diapers as often as possible. He recommends changing your baby’s diaper at every feeding. When a bowel movement is most likely okay can you get me wiping frequent diaper changes may sound like a simple solution but really nothing’s simple when like paddy king you’re the mother of twins.

Necessity Of Best Diaper Rash Cream :

Diaper rash is always a concern before each feeding try to change a diaper and then also I try to put some kind of diaper rash cream on them to prevent any sort of diaper rash. If the diaper rash is left untreated pain and misery can result. If left untreated diaper rash can begin to spread to other parts of the body beginning with the legs and continuing up to the navel area. A reddish rash can soon turn into pustule bumps that leak and must be treated with prescribed antibiotics or antibacterial creams in order to ensure this doesn’t happen to your baby.

Diaper rash cream is very important for baby. Now a day we have to put diaper always on our baby. For this reason we have to be extra cautious about rashes which are often called diaper rashes.

Best Baby Diaper Rash Cream Reviews:

Today I’m going to be talking about all about diaper cream. Now this review section is going to be a little bit different from my other tested out review sections.  Diaper creams may vary to each individual baby and I can test that with my baby’s diaper creams. It works for Mansib cannot not works for Liam and vice versa. This review section is going to be kind of different.

I’m not going to go into each diaper cream and tell you why it did or didn’t work for Liam. It would just be kind of irrelevant because every baby is different. I can sit here and say this diaper cream worked for Liam but it may not work for your baby. To do this is I am going to have three different categories. I’m going to have a category that really just I don’t like. they’re not my favorite and then I’m going to have categories on or I’m going to have a category on which ones were my favorite.

I’m going to have something on the screen pretty much telling all about the diaper cream. The average price what are the features of it. If it’s tested on animals or not but I’m not going to go into detail on why it did or didn’t work for my baby.  I will in the like top category on why it work . It’s mainly going to be my preference on the consistency the way it’s spread and the price is going to be. The main thing for this review section and I hope this review section is helpful.

Maybe you’re just a first-time mom and you’re looking to put some diaper creams on your registry. I hope this is kind of helpful for you guys. Also hope that makes sense and  hope you understand why I’m doing it like this. I just don’t want me to say oh this is the best diaper cream and you guys should all go get it. Then you guys use it on your baby and it doesn’t work so I hope you guys understand.

I’m doing it like this but I hope it’s helpful for you guys and want to see all about these diaper creams and please just keep on reading so there is one diaper cream that I really just don’t recommend honestly for anyone. This is kind of like the only exception just because I cannot see this diaper cream working for like any baby sari or something in my eye any baby because of the consistency and this is the boogie bottoms diaper it’s a diaper rash cream treat treats prevents diaper rash sprayed on application fast easy this stuff is super watery. Here is some best diaper rash cream that i used for my baby:

Some Best Baby Diaper Rash Cream

Boogie Bottoms

First one is spray type rash cream. Normally This is a zinc oxide diaper cream it’s like a white consistency and they’re very good for diaper rashes. If you go to the doctor and says that’s a diaper rash they’ll be safe and find the diaper cream with a zinc oxide. So I do recommend if you do have a baby put on one diaper cream that has a zinc oxide.

Now in some babies it will not work because they’re like more of a petroleum jelly or a non-petroleum jelly kind of ointment type but this one is white so that pretty much indicates that it has ink oxide in it. This is very watery if you could hear it sounds like a liquid. This isn’t going to be good for a diaper cream because you don’t want something super wet that’s why they use baby powders in the old day because whenever you have a diaper cream you want it to be dry.

I will say whenever Liam did use this whenever he had a diaper rash it flared up really bad so I don’t recommend this at all.

People do like the concept of the spray-on but it just didn’t work for me now I do want to clarify that I only tried out these diaper creams whenever Liam had a diaper rash that’s why this review section is kind of coming up late.

I know I’ve been saying I’m going to work on this review section for a long time but I didn’t want to use them if he didn’t have a diaper rash. Liam tends to get diaper rashes pretty frequently especially because he’s teething and he’s eating different foods so it was a good period for me to test these out but I just want to clarify that I did use these whenever my baby did have diaper rashes.

I just want to say that everybody’s different so the end of the review section I will be talking about the diaper rashes that I really just did like. I really felt they did help my baby’s rash. Rashes are awful and they spread on.  I’m not necessarily saying don’t use this cyber rush or use this diaper rash cream. I just want to talk to you guys and let you guys know about the different diaper rash creams. There are a ton of rash creams out on the market.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Very cheap in cost
  •  Easy to use
  • Spray type so it can be used witout rubbing
  • Zinc Oxyde Type Rash Cream

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • When rash is much then it may not work
  • May not work in some baby skin ( You can use petroleum type)

A&D diaper ointment

Another Type of ointment is A&D diaper ointment. This ad ointment is skin protecting ointment which helps to prevent diaper rash this is really really cheap. The base of this ointment is petroleum. It is free of dye. The only thing I just didn’t like about it is I didn’t feel like it was helping Liam’s diaper rash.

The next one is the honest diaper rash cream it’s zinc oxide which means its white yields protect its non-Nano zinc oxide. It is free of petroleum. Free of silicones, fragrances, dye, Parabens and minerals. If you’re looking for that this one I’m pretty sure all honest is not tested on animals .In this one you only get 2.5 ounces and I feel like it’s pretty pricey for the amount that you get.

Whenever I’m looking for a diaper cream I really want it to work within that day or by the next day. I really want that diaper rash gone so if I’m using a diaper rash cream and it’s taking days for it to go away then to me it doesn’t work and I’m going to look for something else.

Desitin Daily

Next one is Destin daily. This is a zinc oxide diaper rush which provides powerful long-lasting release. It is paraben free and this was okay just not my favorite. This was awful with Libya actually her diaper rash got really bad with Liam it was okay just wasn’t working as fast as I wanted.

  • This product is Zinc Oxide type
  • Powerful and long lasting release
  • Free of fragrances

  • Quantity is very less
  • Works not very fast

Burt’s Bee diaper rash ointment

Next one is the Burt’s Bee diaper rash ointment this is actually my second choice. I really do like Burt’s bee a lot .I hate the packaging of this though. I’m actually going to throw this out after the review section because I was trying to open it up and there’s literally oil just leaking all over it because the cream and the oil are separating. This is also another pretty pricey one. This is 100 percent natural that doesn’t mean it’s organic and it has no parabens on it. It’s a really like a good diaper cream I just hate the packaging of this and there’s better diaper creams on the market that I feel like have better packaging.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • This product is ointment type
  • 100 percent Natural
  • Free of fragrances
  • Absence of mineral

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Packaging is not so good
  • Not Free of dye and paraben
  • May not work in some baby skin ( You can use petroleum type)

Earths Best Ointment

Next one is the Earth’s best organic diaper relief diaper ointment. Now this is not certified 100% organic. It doesn’t have the little thing on the back. I know they use a lot of really good ingredients. The base is zinc oxide. It has 70% organic ingredients. This cream is hypo allergic. It is free of fragrances. This has beeswax in it which a lot of diaper creams do have. This cream has aloe Vera vitamin E. This version of cream has no petroleum. When my daughter had a really serious problem with diaper rashes she ended up having to go see a dermatologist. The dermatologist recommended for her whenever I mentioned this product. Another thing they said zinc oxide wouldn’t work for her was non petroleum jelly and some of them.

I do have non petroleum so that’s a good thing to look for whenever you’re putting on your baby because you don’t know what your kind of diaper cream your baby is looking for I would recommend putting a zinc oxide a regular mint and then a non-petroleum jelly type rash cream. So you can try the different ones and see which one work best for your baby’s skin.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • 100 Percent Organic
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of silicones
  • No fragrances

mustela diaper rash cream

The next one is the mustela diaper rash cream. I’ve actually never heard of this brand and chose that by my baby and I just picked this up .The base of this product is zinc oxide. It is 98% natural. It is hypo allergenic. I really like the packaging of this one because it’s really easy to get the product to come out some of them are really thick and hard to get out but this one’s really easy get out and it spreads really nicely and I feel like it does leave a nice thick layer it has a 98 percent ingredients of natural origin. I want to say this is like a dermatologist yeah it’s kind of like one of those dermatologist brand this was a good one just not my favorite one that I reached for.

thumbs-up-icon

  • Free of petroleum.
  • Pakaging is Nice
  • Easy To Spread Cream

thumbs-down-icon

  • Quantity is very less
  • May not work in some baby skin ( You can use petroleum type)

Butt paste

Next One is Butt paste and I don’t understand the hype behind Butt paste because they really haven’t worked for both of my babies whenever Libby used Butt paste it flared up her rash really bad.  I’d never use it again. This Butt paste has a zinc oxide base. It is fragrance free. It is Paraben free. I bought one of those really expensive jars there’s different ones of this and a lot of people raved this. It worked little bit but not so fast.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Zinc Oxide Base
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • Free of Paraben

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Quantity is very less
  • Relatively Expensive
  • May not work in some baby skin ( You can use petroleum type)

Babyganics Protective Oil

Next one is Babyganics Protective Oil. This is petroleum free I really really did like this one. People don’t like the packaging. I feel it’s kind of hard a lot to gets down and then it’s hard to come out but this works pretty well. Thst means I’ve used most of it. Babyganics isn’t organic they’re not 100% organic but they do let you know which ingredients on here organics so I do like that about them and this is non-petroleum parabens. All say mineral oil dye is fragging free.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Zinc Oxide Base
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • Free of Paraben

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Packaging is Not so lovely
  • Not 100% Organic

Triple paste

Next one is Triple paste. It is a really popular one and this one is the thickest one out of all of these.  I’m going to mention this one did not work with Libya that’s why she had to go see a dermatologist but with Liam this worked okay. This is the triple pay stuff and is expensive. Honestly I just don’t get this one because I feel like it’s really expensive. I find that there’s ones that I’m going to mention that are super cheap and work just as good so there’s nothing wrong with this.

I feel like it did help Liam’s rash better than other ones but if you’re looking for a super thick in consistency then this is not for you because  this stuff is like powder or something. It keeps the area of really nice and dry. The base of this cream is zinc oxide and hypo allergic. It is free from frangrances.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • One Of the thickest Cream
  • Powder Type
  • Free of Fragrance
  • No Paraben
  • Very Dry
  • Zinc Oxide Base
  • Free of Petroleum

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Quantity is very less
  • Relatively Expensive
  • May not work in some baby skin ( You can use petroleum type)

Aquafor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment

Next one is aquafor advanced therapy healing ointment. This is another inexpensive one it’s good this one does have petroleum in it pretty sure. This is one of those petroleum ones I recommend getting an ointment non-petroleum ointment and a zinc oxide one on your baby registry. My aunt like loves this one I don’t know how she’s reading this she was the one who recommended me to get this for my kids and it’s good for multiple purposes and it’s not that expensive.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Zinc Oxide Base
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • Free of Paraben

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Quantity is very less
  • Relatively Expensive

Earth Mama

The next one is fully organic and I wanted to mention it on this. I just don’t like the packaging it’s pretty expensive and it’s really tiny. If you’re looking for a total 100% organic one then this Earth Mama is for you. I think they just read changed their packaging. People just don’t like the way it smells. Sure that  your baby would not like this also so it has a really really strong fragrance or being like organic which might be a good thing alright. This Cream is free from petroleum and organic parabens.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Zinc Oxide Base
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Paraben

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Packaging is not so lovely
  • Relatively Expensive
  • Strong Fragrance

Cetaphil

The next one is the one that whenever Olivia went to go see a dermatologist this was the brand the dermatologist recommended for her to use. It is an actual lotion so I used the lotion on her and I had to use paper towels with no wipes. Now they have a baby diaper cream and this is a really good brand if your baby has sensitive skin with anything. This is a really good brand if your baby has eczema or anything the lotion actually works really well when my daughter was having a really bad diaper rash like I’m talking about like bleeding would not go away. I used the lotion with no wipes with paper towels with water and it eventually started to go away but now they have a diaper cream and this is works pretty well.  Cetaphil can be the best baby diaper rash cream for you.

I actually think the lotion works better and for some reason I still think it does. This is still a really good product you only get 2.5 ounces zero parabens mineral oils all that good stuff. It’s just not my favorite this is made with zinc oxide to calm and soothe baby’s delicate skin.    Whenever I’ve noticed like Liam’s just having like a little bit of a rush I will use this and I feel like it works really  well. But I notice if one time he had like a really serious diaper rash and I use this and it just didn’t work for him.

Now I’m not saying that would be the case for your baby but I’m just letting you know hey you guys so it’s the next day I mean obviously everything looks different.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Lotion Type Rash Cream
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • No Paraben
  • If your Baby Has eczima Then this will be The best
  • Zinc Oxide Type Cream

thumbs-down-icon

  • Not very thick.
  • Relatively Expensive

Burts Bee:

I did forget to mention a diaper ointment. This kind of cream goes in my middle category. We found that just using a non-petroleum ointment on her work the best. This ointment is multi-purpose ointment. I love it because it works. You can use it for numerous things. This ointment is 100 percent natural. The base ingredient of this ointment is castor oil. The ointment is free of paraben. It is free from petroleum.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • Free of Paraben
  • 100 Percent Natural

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Not very thick.
  • Contains beeswax and lanolin, which are allergens for some babies.

Baby Bum

Now we’re on to the category of my favorite’s ones. First one is the baby bum diaper rash cream. This is made by some good ingredients that’s why I like this. It’s plant-based talc freak hypoallergenic. The base ingredient of this cream is zinc oxide.  It has coconut oil shake cocoa butters and worked really well. This cream is a little bit expensive . I just really enjoy it because it has such good ingredients I notice a difference with the rash for my baby personally. It has no sulfate. It has no gluten, no dye, no preservatives, no paraben, and no mineral.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Free of petroleum.
  • Absence of Fragrance
  • Free of Paraben
  • 100 Percent Natural

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • Not very thick.
  • Contains beeswax and lanolin, which are allergens for some babies.

Up&Up

The next one surprised me probably out of all of these and this is the up-and-up brand. This is a cream yeah this surprised me because it’s so cheap. It’s literally two dollars and like 50 cents you get four ounces . I like the packaging.  Just try it just because its two dollars and fifty cents and it works really good. This is way cheaper than buying like triple pace or but pace or something like that. It may not work but this works pretty well and it’s really cheap. The base ingredient of this cream is zinc oxide it is hypo allergenic. The cream is free from parabens.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Contains Zinc Oxide
  • Absence Paraben
  • 100 Percent Natural
  • Relatively Cheap
  • Very Effective
  • Absence Of Gluten
  • Hypo Allergenic

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • It contains synthetic products.
  • Contains a fragrance.

Seventh Generation Coconut Care:

the next one is the seventh generation coconut care. This one really surprised me the only thing I don’t like about this is the packaging. I love the way it spreads it is a zinc oxide diaper cream but it’s made with pure coconut oil. Honestly this one really surprised me whenever my son having really bad diaper rash it helped a lot. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging but this actually worked really well it is really expensive.

I love the way it spreads on it consistency and it really does leave a nice layer but it’s not like this thick like goopy layer that you’re getting all over the place. It’s like a nice smooth layer if that makes sense but this one really surprised me. I really liked it and its really good ingredients. The cream is free from paraben. This cream is also free from gluten and mineral oil. Seventh Generation can be the best baby diaper rash cream for you.

thumbs-up-icon

Pros
  • Contains Pure Coconut Oil
  • No Paraben
  • 100 Percent Natural
  • Very Effective
  • Free from Gluten
  •  Mineral Oil Free

thumbs-down-icon

Cons
  • The Cream Has Weired Consistency but works well
  • Contains Fregrance but relatively good one.
  • Relatively Expensive

Balmex:

The next one is one of the cheapest ones. Now again I know I say like don’t go off like what I’m saying for my baby. This one was raved about by a lot of people on here that told me to try it on. My friend told me to try this out and she said it was the only thing that worked for her baby. This is the balmex complete complexion diaper rash cream. It was like three or four dollars and you get four ounces in this .Liam was having a really bad diaper rash and nothing was really working .

Things were helping it but nothing was like getting it to like go away. Finally I might got this my friend told me about. It she said this is all she used with her kid and it worked amazing. I remember there was a few subscribers that told me to make sure I try this one. And I was like alright I’m gonna go and try it oh my gosh within the next day  it was almost completely gone . Obviously I  liked this.

I mean it’s four or five dollars and to me it works better than I would have to say for me. Personally it works better than any other diaper rash cream out of all. I will say this is not the easiest to spread on because it’s a weird consistency it’s like it has powder in it so it’s kind of drier so you do have to work a little bit on spreading it out but . That’s why I feel like it works so good because it puts a big layer on there so sometimes it’s good to have a diaper cream spread really well but sometimes like you need like to have that nice thick layer to kind of have a barrier.

It’s not the easiest that’s spreading but it works really well I really enjoy it and the price is awesome  so I could get rid of all of my diaper creams and just have this and I’d be like good to go again.I hope you guys enjoyed this review section. Hope you guys enjoyed this tested out series if there’s anything  just let me know. Balmex can be the best baby diaper rash cream for you.

  • Complete Complexion Diaper Cream

  • Contains Fregrance.
